Knowing & Doing the Will of God

What Does God Desire?

God desires that we be filled with the knowledge of His will (v.9)

• Some Significant Words/Phrases:

                        “Filled”-

                        “The Knowledge of His Will”-

                        “In All Wisdom and Understanding”-

• Why is “Being filled with this knowledge important?

God desires that we have a walk worthy of the Lord, pleasing Him (v.10)

• This is the goal of being filled!

• To conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of the Lord (Eph. 4:1)

• To conduct ourselves in a manner fully pleasing Him.

God desires that we bear fruit and know God more (v.10)

• “Being fruitful in every good work”

• “Increasing in the knowledge of God”
