Reaching people for Christ and walking with them to maturity

Northwest Kids

We provide a fun and safe place at Northwest for your kids to learn about Jesus and grow in stature and in the Lord.  From the time that children come to our nursery until they move on to the youth ministry, we have age-appropriate teaching and activities to teach them about Christ and about loving God and loving others.

Sunday Mornings:

Nursery- Northwest Baptist Church values keeping our children safe, spiritually, emotionally, and physically.  The physical safety at Northwest is reflected through room environments with age-appropriate equipment, background checks and interviews with all volunteers and staff, as well as alarm coded doors that lead into our nursery area, only accessible with the proper code.  We only allow registered parents and nursery workers access to our nursery during LifeGroup and worship times.  It is our goal that you can confidently leave your child in the loving care of Northwest Baptist staff and volunteers.  For more information please feel free to pick up a copy of our policy and procedures in our nursery offices.

As long as you are comfortable leaving your child we accept any age.  There is a nursing room available for your convenience.

Northwest Kids LifeGroups 9:30 a.m.

From birth through 6th grade, we have classes designed specifically for each age group to really interact and understand lessons and apply them to their lives.  We learn about God, memorize the Word, and fellowship with our friends!

Extended Session 10:50 a.m.

Extended is for the little ones, not quite ready for "big church".  This is an extended time of learning about Jesus and having fun, while parents are getting a chance to worship without distraction.  Ages birth through pre-K.

Sunday Evenings:

Awana 5:30-7:00 p.m.

Pre-k - 6th graders come to learn, play, and grow each Sunday night at Awana!

Wednesday Evenings:

 23rd Street Kids 6:00-8:00 p.m.

This is the place for 1st-6th graders who want to have fun on Wednesday nights! We dance, sing and praise God and even play on a huge moon bounce or do other awesome summer activities! Grab a friend from school, and come along.  You don’t want to miss this! Childcare for our infant to toddler City Tykes and the 3 year-old to kindergarten Uptown Littles is also provided during this time period.
