Reaching people for Christ and walking with them to maturity

Community Outreach

Northwest Baptist Church is committed to reaching the community with the Gospel and to pour out the love of Christ on them. We have several programs that are intentionally geared toward serving the community in an effort to Reach People of All Nations for Christ and Walk With Them to Maturity.

Open Gym - Tuesdays 4:00-8:30 p.m.

The Ministries and Activities Center is full of energy each Tuesday evening as we open the doors for people to come play basketball, ping pong, video games, dominos or just hang out. It is a free place for people of any age or background to come and play.  Join us one Tuesday, or email Allen Marks about praying for one of the participants.

The Clothing Closet - 1st Wednesday of every month, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

This is a free store for single parent families.

Northwest Baptist Tutoring Ministry- Wednesdays 4:00-5:45 p.m.

This ministry is tutoring for elementary school students on Wednesdays. Tutoring offers help in all school subjects. This program has had several students become Christians through their interactions with the volunteers.

Teacher Appreciation Breakfast

Each year, our church showers Oklahoma City School teachers with a breakfast and goodies for their classroom.  Volunteers put together bags, donate goodies and door prizes, decorate and serve during this exciting event.

NW Sports

This basketball league for 1st-6th graders is an encouraging, uplifting environment, where kids learn the sport, sportsmanship and the love of Christ. Sign-ups are usually due in November and the league runs from December through February.

Trunk Or Treat

NWBC has a party in the parking lot on October 31st each year!  People decorate their cars, have games and hand out candy as the neighborhood comes out and enjoys the Trunks and Games!
